To be honest, the month of March has been a whirlwind. During the HFA Show 2026 here in our hometown of San Diego earlier this month, we hosted the Beyond the Looking Glass party—and I’m exhausted in the best way possible. After a night of deep conversations and new connections, one phrase kept echoing back to our team from our amazing guests was: "You really know how to bring kind, interesting, good people together."

It sounds simple, right? But looking around that room, we quickly realized we had created a rare microcosm. We had heavy-hitting wellness VCs chatting effortlessly with solo yoga studio owners from Ocean Beach. We had franchisees, industry consultants, and tech innovators all speaking the same language.

In an era defined by a loneliness epidemic, this isn't just a nice-to-have vibe. It is a massive shift in how our industry must operate to survive and thrive.

Moving Beyond the "Vendor" Mindset

At Walla, we’ve made a conscious choice: We refuse to be just another software vendor. In a world saturated with “digital garbage" and automated communication, people are starving for authenticity.
